Overview

Optimization of battery life in wireless mesh end nodes is important for many smart home products such as door locks, sensors, and light switches. However, reliable estimation of battery life is a significant design challenge because it's difficult to predict the energy consumption of wireless technologies operating in real-world scenarios. This course teaches a methodology to estimate battery life using advanced tools provided by Silicon Labs, which can be applied holistically across a variety of use cases and wireless protocols.
