Works With 2021: Everything You Need to Know about Gateways

Explore the different gateway designs to better inform your system architecture decisions.

The Gateway’s primary purpose has been to serve as an entry and exit point, connecting two or more networks together. Gateways, however, can take many different forms and perform a multitude of different tasks beyond serving as a conduit to the cloud or providing connection to the internet.

This two-session track, hosted by our IoT product design friends at Firia, runs through the anatomy of a Gateway. They discuss the various use cases and drivers for edge devices and cover the differing set ups depending on intended use and environment.
