Overview
This presentation gives an overview of antenna theory, including antenna function and model, the concept of near field and far field, giving basic definition of antenna impedance, efficiency, Q factor, antenna pattern, directivity and gain. Typical antenna types used in wireless applications are going to be presented as well as Antenna matrices, which is a set of antennas that was developed by Silicon Labs.
