About this Session

Simplicity Studio 6 is Silicon Labs’ next-generation IoT development environment designed to streamline every step of wireless product creation. This session will walk through the platform’s improvements and highlight its key capabilities: a VS Code–focused experience, a lightweight modular installer with simplified SDK management for Series 2 and Series 3 devices, enabling targeted, lean installs. We’ll cover integrated analysis tools—such as Network Analyzer for radio and stack visibility, and Energy Profiler for power consumption insights—along with project templates, device-aware configuration, and centralized documentation. We’ll also highlight headless and scripted workflows through the CLI for CI/CD. Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of how Studio 6 reduces setup friction, accelerates iteration, and supports multi-protocol development across BLE, Matter, Thread, Zigbee, and Wi-Fi.
