3. Oscillators and VCXOs

In this training, we review Crystal Oscillators (XOs) which consist of quartz crystal packaged together in a Silicon Labs die and Voltage Controlled Crystal Oscillators (VCXOs).  We also go over our online XO phase noise look-up tool to generate performance metrics for your ideal oscillator solution.

4. Clock Buffers

This product family in Silicon Labs’ timing portfolio is used to copy an input clock to multiple output clocks and is sometimes referred to a ‘fanout’ buffer. We review our universal format translation which means any input format can be translated to any output format.
