EFR32BG22 (BG22) Bluetooth low energy (LE) wireless SoC solutions are part of the Wireless Gecko Series 2 platform. The BG22 family's combination of best-in-class ultra-low transmit and receive power (4.1 mA TX at 0 dBm, 3.6 mA RX) and a high-performance, low-power Arm® Cortex®-M33 core (27 µA/MHz active, 1.2 µA sleep) delivers industry-leading energy efficiency that can extend coin cell battery life up to ten years. Target applications include Bluetooth mesh low-power nodes, smart door locks, personal healthcare and fitness devices. Asset tracking tags, beacons and indoor navigation also benefit from the SoCs' versatile Bluetooth Angle of Arrival (AoA) and Angle of Departure (AoD) capabilities and sub-one-meter location accuracy.

EFR32FG25 wireless SoCs are an ideal solution for long range, Sub-GHz wireless connectivity for smart metering, lighting, city and building automation. The inclusion of multi-rate OFDM, FSK, and O-QPSK modulation schemes allows for data rates up to 3.6 Mbps while keeping immunity to 2.4 GHz interference. The large memory footprint and increased IO count allows for design consolidation and when combined with Secure Vault™ can provide higher level system security.

EFR32MG21 devices bring high performance, low power and secure solutions to the IoT. Designed to increase processing capability, improve RF performance and lower active current, EFR32MG21 devices are 2.4 GHz wireless SoCs optimized for line-powered Zigbee, Thread and Bluetooth mesh applications, including connected lighting, gateways, voice assistants and smart metering.

The EFR32MG21 family of SoCs includes an integrated security subsystem and devices that can take advantage of Secure Vault technologies. Secure Vault delivers leading security software features with physically unclonable function (PUF) hardware technology to greatly reduce the risk of IoT security breaches and compromised intellectual property

With better than -104 dBm sensitivity for both 802.15.4 and Bluetooth Long Range and up to +20 dBm output power, EFR32MG21 provides a robust RF link to ensure reliable communications. EFR32MG21 uses Simplicity Studio 5 development tools, providing easy migration and fast time-to-market with development kits, SDKs, mobile apps and our patented network analyzer.

The EFR32MG24 Wireless SoCs are ideal for mesh IoT wireless connectivity using Matter, OpenThread and Zigbee protocols for smart home, lighting, and building automation products. With key features like high performance 2.4 GHz RF, low current consumption, an AI/ML hardware accelerator and Secure Vault™, IoT device makers can create the smart, robust, and energy-efficient products that are secure from remote and local cyber-attacks. An ARM Cortex®-M33 running up to 78 MHz and up to 1.5 MB of Flash and 256 kB of RAM  provides resources for demanding applications while leaving room for future growth. Target applications include gateways and hubs, sensors, switches, door locks, LED lighting, luminaires, location services, predictive maintenance, glass break detection, wake-word detection, and more.

The EFP01 Energy Friendly Power Management IC (PMIC) is an extremely flexible, highly-efficient, multi-output power management IC, providing complete system power and primary cell battery Coulomb counting for EFM32 and EFR32 devices. These devices operate over a wide input voltage range (0.8 to 5.5 V) with quiescent current as low as 150 nA. EFP01 provides three voltage output rails and four supply outputs – 1x buck/boost converter, 1x buck-only DC-DC converter + LDO, 1x LDO and 1x switched – delivering up to 94% efficiency.
