The Pearl Gecko PG12 starter kit enables customers to jumpstart their evaluation and development of both EFM32 Pearl Gecko PG12 & EFM32 Jade Gecko JG12 based products. (Note: a Jade Gecko Starter Kit is not available. Customers developing for Jade Gecko may use the Pearl Gecko Starter Kit.) This kit is supported by multiple IDEs, including Simplicity Studio.

  • Memory LCD, capacitive touch buttons, LEDs, pushbuttons
  • On-chip temperature sensor and additional Si7021 RH/temperature sensor on board
  • Breakout headers for easy MCU pin access
  • 20-pin EXP-header for additional add-on boards
  • Inductive LC sensor (SLSTK3402A only)
  • Crystals for 32.768 kHz LFXO and 40 MHz HFXO

Demos are a quick and easy way to evaluate a device without compiling or debugging code.

Follow these easy steps:

1. Plug kit in with USB; Use the port labeled DBG

2. Open Simplicity Studio

3. Select Demos (see screenshot)
