This curriculum provides a practical introduction to developing Bluetooth LE applications using Zephyr on Silicon Labs wireless microcontrollers.
Overview
See inside Zephyr, SEGGER SystemView reveals how threads, interrupts, and application events interact, helping you understand what your RTOS application is doing and investigate unexpected behaviour.
In this video, we’ll enable SystemView for a Zephyr Bluetooth LE application and explore its trace. We’ll identify numbered interrupts and system threads, follow a button press through the input and Bluetooth work, and briefly cover SystemView’s continuous, single-shot, and post-mortem modes.
The example is a Bluetooth LE Find Me application from our Zephyr BLE series. SystemView is available under a cost-free license for use with Silicon Labs devices. If you’re new to SystemView, see the companion video for installation, licensing, and a FreeRTOS example in Simplicity Studio.
